According to a police news release, it is believed a 20-year-old man driving a blue Chevrolet Camaro was stopped at a red light while travelling northbound on Midpark Boulevard. A black Hyundai Santa Fe being driven by a 79-year-old man was travelling eastbound along Midlake Boulevard when it crossed the concrete median separating northbound and southbound traffic on Midpark Boulevard.

The Hyundai then entered the northbound lanes and struck the driver’s side of the Camaro, pushing the Camaro eastbound until both vehicles crossed over the sidewalk and broke through a rear garden fence of a home in the 200 block of Midpark Gardens.
